more on the subject - with getting too specific you can fire as large a piece as you can manage to support adequately (to prevent too much distortion and allow you to still get to the underside with the torches)get to fusing temperature - you might do it with half a dozen people with torches of various types, you could do it by supporting a flat panel over an airfed bed of coals, you can make a small "oven" from stainless scrap and heat from above and below - the heat from above and the side will be indirect radiant energy from the redhot "oven" walls and there'll be no reduction/oxidation of the enamel due to direct contact with naked flame. You could roll a large panel over a fixed bank of burners a bit at a time fusing successive areas.
