I need to add,I don't have a pyrometer,I go by the color of my kiln,which is orange,when I fire high and fast,so don't take 1600 degrees literally.Merrylee,why would a light transparent work better than flux on top.Doesn't it change your colors underneath it? PLease give me an example of Coral's japanse colorsBGS
