Atlantis Dolphins

The Atlantis Dolphins is a piece requiring a special technique. The magical effect of the depth is achieved by first completing a cloisonné of a Roman Column. After the grinding process, a second wirework is fired onto the surface (on top of the column cloisonné). 10 or more layers of enamel are then added to create the Dolphin image. The result is of looking deep into the water past the Dolphins and seeing the sunken City of Atlantis. I believe that I originated the idea of this "double" cloisonné. This Pendant is set in18K gold with a diamond and Tourmaline drop. It is a Limited Edition of 72. I will probably never complete the Edition as the failure rate of this design is very high!

Nouveau Octopus

Nouveau Octopus
The Nouveau Octopus is one of my all-time favorite works. The lovely magenta tentacles flowing on the rich black background, accented with the gold tentacle wrapping around the formal 18K gold setting combine to create luscious magic. It is playful and powerful. The accent is sometimes Amethyst, sometimes Garnet. Available with a rope of garnet beads for an additional $625.
